Another of my “summer resolutions” this year, weather permitting, is to discover the Brussels beach. Bruxelles Les Bains, as it is known locally, is an artificial beach created every summer and inspired in the Parisian version. The beach opening period has been shortened to one month this year (last day is August 12), possibly due to lowwe than expected attendance last year because of bad weather (no guarantee this year will be any better though…)
However, even with the uncooperative weather, the Brussels beach tries to attract visitors by offering a full program of fun activities, including beach sports, shows, concerts, music, dancing, food and free activities for children. There is no entrance fee and the beach is open every day (except Mondays) from 11h00 to 22h00.
